When you need to concentrate on getting exactly the right gift for a particular person, it can present so many anxieties – let’s face it, no one wants to be thought of as mean or embarrassingly over generous.  Knowing the party you are buying for does help to a great extent but only if you have an ideas of what you want to look for in the first place.  I have only a few older folk to cater for and it tends to be mostly chocolates in various formats.  I work on the basis that at their time of life, a few extra calories won’t really do much harm – and the joy of receiving a gorgeous box of confectionary really makes that worry of no consequence.  I do browse a dedicated site aimed at suggesting the most attractive and gorgeous gifts to be had on the market – it’s vital to be in the right frame of mind!
