Popping A Spring Surprise For Mum

This is really a fantastic time of year isn’t it – so much new growth out in the gardens, shops getting in the smarter summery clothing ranges.  It feel very special because the drabness of the winter months, with the constant cold and rain do seem to pass away from memory very quickly.   This is also the time of year when we start thinking about Mother’s Day – the time of year when we are meant to think about the significance of motherhood to us and to all.  I like to celebrate with more floral based gifts, after all, in the olden days children were encouraged to take home simple bunches of buttercups and the like.  We can nowadays though provide something more meaningful than just flowers.  A potted beauty, say a rose or other shrub, particularly if it flowers at this time of year, will be a lasting gift that carries on giving.
